HOW TO MAKE MONSTER SLIME BY NIKKALA STEPHENS The Crafting Chicks
My kids are obsessed with slime, so we tried something new and added sand to our slime for a whole new texture.
We love this Monster Slime with little glow in the dark fangs and eyeballs that add just the right amount of spookiness.
When left sitting the sand settles and the monster pieces raise to the top, in a swamp monster kind of way, that my kids think is awesome!

What You Will Need
STEP 1 Choose what color you want your slime to be and squeeze an entire bottle of that color of glitter glue into the plastic container.
STEP 2 Add in half a pound of sand in the color of your choosing. Stir to mix the sand with the glue.
STEP 3 Add liquid starch in 1/4 cup increments to the glue/sand mixture until it stiffens. Stir well before adding more liquid starch. Slime will start to pull away from the sides of the container when the right consistency is reached.
STEP 4 When the slime has thickened, take it out of the container and work with your hands until it becomes stretchy. A small amount of contact solution can be added if the slime is too stiff.
STEP 5 Use a pair of scissors to cut the teeth rings apart into little fangs. Save the teeth and discard the rest of the ring.
STEP 6 Add googly eyes and fangs to the slime. Fold and stretch until the eyes and fangs are mixed in. STEP 7 Return the slime to the plastic container and wrap a Monster Slime label around the jar, attach with tape. Download the Free Monster Slime Label Printable here!
