HIDE 'N SEEK CLEAN UP

Updated: Jul 17, 2020

Cleaning With Children Is Difficult

However, If You Are Willing To Get Creative

It Could Be a Little Easier & Even Fun For Your Kiddos!

This is what I do & I swear by it!

Mom Tried, Tested & Approved!

1. Play Hide and Go Seek!

YES ... Hide N Go Seek This Idea Works On Ages 3+++.

About 6 turns of each player will give you great results!

THIS IS HOW TO DO IT!

1. Count to 20 slowly but methodically and as you count..... give the room your in a quick spruce up ( it may take 2 turns to doing the living room)

2. When it is your turn to count and they hide.... As you are "looking for them" you can quickly clean and pick up too...

For Example: "Where are you?" Pick up a ball... "Are you under this ball? No!!!"

head to the basket the ball goes into... "Are you in the basket?? NO.."

PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET boom you are cleaning... and just keep going.

3. The Kids Turn To Hide!

4. When they are counting. go hide. I like to start in my restroom or bedroom.

While your the room.... HAHAHA start picking up the clothes up off the floor & put in hamper and when you hear them coming jump under you bed covers.

QUICK HIDE IN THE SHOWER or UNDER THE COVERS!!!

Baskets That I Love

  • 1 Basket for Laundry

  • I like these baskets because they are collapsible and large enough to put my daughters clothes on the bottom and my sons clothes on top as I go room to room.

TIP *** if they can't find you.. make a little noise like a bird or cow or something LOL and they can slowly floor your sound!

TIP *** Take multiple turns... The kids will have fun... You'll find yourself smiling under the covers.. and the house will be (at minimum) 50% cleaner ++

If you think this is a great idea share this idea with your girlfriends.

Let's help each other feel more successful without spending too much energy!

XOXO, Just a Mom On The Hill
